It’s a training system for your nervous system. Less overthinking, more working with the body and interrupting the pattern where it actually lives.. It can absolutely complement therapy, but it’s doing something different.

Meditation is beautiful. It’s been game changing in my own life. But for a lot of people, meditation gives relief from the pattern without actually rewiring the pattern. State Shift is designed to help you get to the root of what keeps getting activated so you can respond to life with more clarity, precision, and choice. A little about Aleks….
In a nutshell: I was uncomfortable in my body and the discomfort got way too loud. .
What this looked like for me was: looping thoughts, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, strained relationships, lack of presence, and constantly running from myself. But I was high functioning so it all seemed to work for me, right? Not at all. My physical symptoms became too big of an issue for me so I decided to take things into my own hands and thus began my journey in trying anything and everything to find my freedom and joy. Ten+ years of throwing things at a wall to see what would stick. After everything I finally found what did! I really don’t want it to take that long for you.
In 2016, I met Wim Hof and tried breathwork for the first time — it was this moment that elevated things for me and helped me recognize the magic that already exists within me. I learned that the greatest unlock to my dream state is in the rewiring of my nervous system. Doing this work is when I started to feel a real difference in my life. Things started to actually shift…
I took a deep dive into all things nervous system health and studied polyvagal theory, the science of breathwork and contrast therapy, and trained under my mentor Lihi Benisty, from whom I received my breathwork certification. I’m currently partnered with Soho House in Nashville where I have a weekly residency and have done workshops with Onsite and other healthcare and mental health providers.
This is my purpose and I can’t wait to share it with you.

All sessions will be recorded and you’ll have lifetime access to the recordings.

Our weekly calls will include 30-40 minutes of breathwork so I highly recommend you take them from a quiet space where you can be comfortable and fully drop-in.

We use a three-part conscious connect breath in our work. Aleks was trained by Lihi Benisty (at Open in Venice, CA) and uses a similar approach while also borrowing inspiration from Stanslav Grof, the founder of holotropic breathwork.
Breathwork helps you access deeper patterning and build new responses (you’ll learn about the mechanism of theta/neuroplasticity in the program).

The type of breathwork in our program is not suited for anyone who is pregnant, has recently had heart surgery, or suffers from seizures or epilepsy.

Embodied Freedom Method™ combines breath + somatic processing with subconscious rewiring and ritual-grade integration so your body doesn’t just understand change, it becomes it. Most approaches only do one piece (regulation or deep emotional work or mindset). This method does all three in the right order: stabilize the nervous system (safety first), access and release what’s stored, update the pattern at the root, then reinforce it through daily repetition and real-life integration. And because sequence and safety matter, you’re guided through the process so you don’t get stuck and feel supported in the practice. Aleks is also trained in energy clearing and intuition and will be using these tools in our sessions together.
