  • Therapy can be incredibly supportive, but a lot of it stays in the head. Stress responses and survival patterns are not rational. They don’t live in the logical brain. This work goes beneath that. It’s a training system for your nervous system. Less overthinking, more working with the body and interrupting the pattern where it actually lives.. It can absolutely complement therapy, but it’s doing something different.

  • Executive coaching is often focused on strategy, mindset, performance, and decision-making. The State Shift is focused on the survival patterns underneath the stress. It’s not about becoming a better thinker. It’s about becoming someone who can actually hold pressure differently, with more ease and clarity. It’s body-based. Somatic and practical. This practice complements executive coaching so you can do the thing without frying your system in the process.

  • Meditation is beautiful. It’s been game changing in my own life. But for a lot of people, meditation gives relief from the pattern without actually rewiring the pattern. State Shift is designed to help you get to the root of what keeps getting activated so you can respond to life with more clarity, precision, and choice. It doesn't mask the symptoms, it addresses them at the root.

  • You can absolutely try free breathwork on YouTube. While it can be great for quick relief, it won’t get you to the root to create lasting change. These resources lack a framework, lack a witness, and a coach.

    It is not the same thing as transformation. The State Shift is a structured process. Repetition matters. Coaching matters. Practice matters. The goal is not to have one powerful experience or reduce stress in the moment. The goal is to build a different baseline and create lasting change in your nervous system.

A little about Aleks….

I’ve been a high performer my whole life (because I had to be). I’ve built a great career in marketing and tech: I’ve been part of three exits: Digital Impact sold to Acxiom, Yammer sold to Microsoft, ShopStyle sold to Rakuten. I worked my butt off to be in the right rooms. But my body wasn’t loving it. What this looked like for me was: chronic fatigue but pushing through with coffee, poor sleep but mitigating with supplements, a lack of presence (I couldn’t remember what I did last weekend), constant distraction by filling my calendar with plans, and numbing out by scrolling,

I was high functioning (and doing a great job hiding all of my symptoms) so it all seemed ok, until it didn’t.

I didn’t want to just quit and go on a sabbatical. I didn’t want to go become a monk. I wanted to expand my capacity to hold my life. I wanted to fully live in it without getting hijacked by stress and constantly feeling activated. That motivation sparked my journey in trying anything and everything to find my freedom and my joy. Ten+ years of trying all the biohacking, ancient rituals, new technologies I finally found something that really works — a unique combination of things to be exact.

In 2016, I met Wim Hof and tried breathwork for the first time — it was this moment that showed me the real time effects of breathwork. There was no “wait 3 months for this to kick in”. It was immediate. It was an aha moment for me. After that, I took a deep dive into all things nervous system health and studied polyvagal theory, the science of breathwork and contrast therapy, and trained under my mentor Lihi Benisty, from whom I received my breathwork certification. I devoured the works of Dr. Sarno, Dr. David Hawkins, Joe Dispenza, and more while I studied Functional Nutrition at MBG which gave me access to Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Stephen Gundry, Dr. Will Cole, and Dr. Frank Lipman as examples.. I combined all of this to create the Embodied Freedom Method™ which is what I share with you in my signature 8 week program: The State Shift.

I am currently partnered with Soho House, where we have a weekly residency in Nashville, I’ve also hosted workshops at Onsite and other healthcare providers.

  • All sessions will be recorded and you’ll have lifetime access to the recordings.

  • Our weekly calls will include 30-40 minutes of breathwork so I highly recommend you take them from a quiet space where you can be comfortable and fully drop-in.

  • We use a three-part conscious connect breath in our work. Aleks was trained by Lihi Benisty (at Open in Venice, CA) and uses a similar approach while also borrowing inspiration from Stanslav Grof, the founder of holotropic breathwork.

    Breathwork helps you access deeper patterning and build new responses (you’ll learn about the mechanism of theta/neuroplasticity in the program).

  • You shouldn’t enroll in this program if you’re not willing to invest time in yourself and push yourself outside of your comfort zone to achieve real change.

    You should not enroll in this program if you are not willing to take accountability for your inner state.

    The type of breathwork in our program is not suited for anyone who is pregnant, has recently had heart surgery, or suffers from seizures or epilepsy.

  • Embodied Freedom Method™ combines breath + somatic processing with subconscious rewiring and ritual-grade integration so your body doesn’t just understand change, it becomes it. Most approaches only do one piece (regulation or deep emotional work or mindset). This method does all three in the right order: stabilize the nervous system (safety first), access and release what’s stored, update the pattern at the root, then reinforce it through daily repetition and real-life integration. And because sequence and safety matter, you’re guided through the process so you don’t get stuck and feel supported in the practice. Aleks is also trained in energy clearing and intuition and will be using these tools in our sessions together.
